This morning we went for a dinghy ride around Isla Cocinas. It has some small secluded beaches and one beach that tourist boats come to. It even has one beach called Playa Nudista!
There are numerous rocky inlets with pounding surf and one really pretty arch.
In the afternoon we moved about a mile north to see the town of Perula. We have not been in yet, but from where we are anchored, just off the beach, it looks like a typical small beach town in Mexico.
Many umbrellas on the beach and many kids in the surf having a great time. A few Pangas (small open power boats) going by, taking people out to other beaches and snorkeling places. Very nice. Tomorrow morning we will go in to buy some fresh fruits & veggies and then head south to Pariso (a short 8 mile sail).
