Check-in was easy (for a fee). We paid for a service that took us to the office in Ensenada that has the 3 gov’t departments that are needed for check-in, visas and customs.
The process took about 90 minutes. Our visas cost about $28 each and check-in for the boat was $22. We spent a few hours walking around in downtown Ensenada. The main ‘Malecon’ (boardwalk) was open for business but there were very few people. Covid still has things depressed here.
Back at Hotel Coral Marina, we relaxed for the afternoon and planned the rest of our time in Ensenada.
Saturday was a relaxing day at the pool, in the jacuzzi and walking around the marina. A few ‘boat chores’ but also time for an afternoon nap, reading and talking to other sailors.
