Arrived in Cabo San Lucas!

We tied up at the dock just after 8am today in Cabo San Lucas! It was a great trip, even though there was more motoring than sailing. Beautiful starry nights, sunrises and sunsets, many dolphin escorts, jumping mobula rays and even a few whales. Calista performed well, keeping us safe and comfortable. Bram and Jessica were terrific crew and a joy to have on board.

We will be in Cabo until about Nov15, snorkeling, playing tourist and reprovisioning. Bram and Jessica will be doing a lot of scuba diving before returning home Nov17.

Next up for us will be a series of short, one-day hops up the west coast of the Sea of Cortez to La Paz.

Also, I clearly don’t know how to use the tracking map that comes with this blog (it still shows us in Ensenada). For an accurate map of our travels, see this link.

Just rounding Cabo San Lucas. A few condos on the left but the marina and most of the town is behind the rocks.
Calista (right edge) docked in the Cabo marina.
