July 27 we sailed most of the way from Punta Pulpito to Santo Domingo (38nm) which is a wide cove at the entrance to Bahia Concepcion. We motored the final bit after the wind died. Candeleros Chico – a new place on our ‘favorites list’

In the morning of June 25 we motored about 2 miles to Candeleros Chico (Little Candlesticks). It is a very small and well protected bay with room for one boat. Just as we arrived, a boat was leaving  – perfect timing! The bay is well known for great snorkeling so we spent lots of time in the clear warm water
