After 3 days of some motoring, some sailing we pulled into Turtle Bay with the rest of the Nada HaHa fleet. We did get some good wing-on-wing sailing on one afternoon.
At noon today we will leave Ensenada, heading for Turtle Bay. It looks like a 40 to 50 hour trip so we should arrive sometime Wednesday. Check-in was easy (for a fee). We paid for a service that took us to the office in Ensenada that has the 3 gov’t departments that are needed for check-in, visas and customs. We are making final preparations for leaving. Some provisioning and checking out systems to make sure they are all in working order. Tomorrow (Tuesday) our crew, Bram and Jessica, arrive from Portland. We will do some orientation, a bit more provisioning, and then leave early Thursday, planning on arriving in Ensenada before 5pm Thursday. Friday will be check-in to Mexico
